T\u00e4ll\u00e4 sivustolla on esill\u00e4 koruja, jotka ovat tuloksia is\u00e4ni yli 50-vuoden aktiivisesta harrastuksesta: korujen tekemisest\u00e4.<\/p>\n

Is\u00e4ni Raimo Beloff syntyi vuonna 1935 Karjalassa Laatokan rannalla nykyisell\u00e4 Ven\u00e4j\u00e4ll\u00e4, joka oli tuolloin viel\u00e4 osa Suomea. H\u00e4nen vanhempansa pakenivat lastensa kanssa sodan jaloista ja asettuivat evakkoina Suomeen. Is\u00e4ni is\u00e4, minun ukkini Heikki Beloff oli monta vuotta t\u00f6iss\u00e4 Outokummun kaivoksissa ja is\u00e4ni \u00e4iti, mummini Tilda Beloff oli enimm\u00e4kseen kotona is\u00e4ni Raimon ja h\u00e4nen siskonsa Annikin kanssa.
\nSuurimman osan el\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4ns\u00e4 is\u00e4ni on kuitenkin asunut L\u00e4nsi-Suomessa Pohjanmaalla, mist\u00e4 \u00e4itini Hillervo Susanna Lohikoski-Beloff on kotoisin. He ovat asuneet 1970-luvun alkupuolelta t\u00e4h\u00e4n p\u00e4iv\u00e4\u00e4n asti (joulukuu 2015) Kurikassa. Is\u00e4ni ty\u00f6skenteli vuosia valtion omistamalla Alkon tehtaalla Koskenkorvalla, joka sijaitsee Kurikan naapurissa ja joka on tunnettu mm. kansan makuun sopivasta Koskenkorva-juomasta.
\nIs\u00e4ni on l\u00e4hes aina el\u00e4nyt naisten ymp\u00e4r\u00f6im\u00e4n\u00e4, h\u00e4nell\u00e4 on vaimo, kaksi tyt\u00e4rt\u00e4 sek\u00e4 tytt\u00e4rentyt\u00e4r. Se onkin ehk\u00e4 osasyy h\u00e4nen kiinnostuksensa korujen tekoon, ainkaan h\u00e4nell\u00e4 ei ole ollut pulaa korujen k\u00e4ytt\u00e4jist\u00e4. Vaikka toisaalta h\u00e4n on joutunut vastaanottamaan perheens\u00e4 j\u00e4senilt\u00e4 kovaakin kritiikki\u00e4.<\/p>\n

Varhaisimpia is\u00e4ni tekemi\u00e4 koruja ovat kaksi sormusta, jotka h\u00e4n teki 1960-luvun alkupuolella. Niihin h\u00e4n ker\u00e4si hopean poisheitett\u00e4viksi joutuvista sulakkeista ollessaan silloin t\u00f6iss\u00e4 tehtaalla Harjavallassa. Voi siis todeta h\u00e4nen olleen edell\u00e4 aikaansa, koska ajatus arvometallien ker\u00e4\u00e4misest\u00e4 vanhoista elektronisista laitteista on noussut vasta viime vuosina enemm\u00e4n esille.<\/p>\n

T\u00e4ll\u00e4 sivustolla on n\u00e4ht\u00e4viss\u00e4 suurin osa h\u00e4nen korutuotannostaan, mutta tietenkin sarjasta puuttuu jonkin verran koruja, joita toivottavasti voimme lis\u00e4t\u00e4 v\u00e4hitellen.<\/p>\n

Suurin osa koruista on tehty hopeasta, mutta sarjassa on my\u00f6s kokeiluja muista materiaaleista tai yhdistelmist\u00e4, joissa on k\u00e4ytetty mm. kive\u00e4, muovia ja titaania muiden lis\u00e4ksi. Titaanista valmistetut korut tunnistaa sini\/violetista v\u00e4rist\u00e4, joka syntyy titaania kuumennettaessa.<\/p>\n

Viime viikonloppuna is\u00e4ni vietti 80-vuotissyntym\u00e4p\u00e4ivi\u00e4\u00e4n (14.12.2015), t\u00e4m\u00e4 sivusto on tehty sen kunniaksi. Sivuston toteutti Erich Berger, valokuvat ovat minun ja tytt\u00e4reni Ada Beloffin. Lis\u00e4ksi kokosimme n\u00e4m\u00e4 korukuvat pieneen kirjaan, jonka toteutti siskoni Marja Beloff.<\/p>\n

Alla olevassa kuvassa olen is\u00e4ni kanssa K\u00f6\u00f6penhaminan Lousiana-museossa olevassa Kusama-n\u00e4yttelyss\u00e4.<\/p>\n

This website presents over 50-years in results of my fathers serious hobby; making jewellery.
\nMy father Raimo Beloff\u00a0 was born 1935 in Karelia, Finland, in the part of the country that after the war was added to Soviet Union \/ Russia. His family escaped as refugees during the war when he was a child and they settled to Finland. Then his father, my grandfather, was working for a mining company for many years and my grandmother was mainly home with my father and his sister Annikki.
\nThe most of his life my father has lived in the western Finland, at Ostrobothnia region, where my mother Hillervo Susanna Lohikoski-Beloff is originally from. Since early 1970\u2019s until today (December 2015) they have lived in Kurikka. He worked as an electrician for decades for the Finnish State owened company Alko at the Koskenkorva factory, which is famous for Finnish folk-spirit called Koskenkorva and is located in the village next to Kurikka.
\nMy father\u2019s life has been surrounded by women; a wife, 2 daughters and a granddaughter. Maybe this is one part of the reason that he got interested in making jewellery. At least there has not been lack of users for his jewellery. However, there has also been occasional harsh criticism towards his creations within the family.<\/p>\n

Some of his first jewelries are two rings that were done early 1960\u2019s for which he collected the silver from old fuses that were thrown away by the factory in Harjavalta where he worked at the time. One can say that he was at the head of his time in that, as these ideas about collecting precious metals from used electronic parts are just recently been launched.
\nThis website has a majority of his jewellery production, but obviously some of them are not yet photographed, and some will still be added. The jewellery is made mainly from silver, with some experiments using and combining other materials e.g. stone, plastic, and titanium among others. The works using titanium are often blue\/violet-colored, which is the colour titanium when it is heated.<\/p>\n

Last weekend my father celebrated his 80th birthday (14.12.2015). This website is made in honor of that. Website made by Erich Berger, photos by me and granddaughter Ada Beloff. There exists also a small book, which is made by my sister Marja Beloff from these jewellery photos.<\/p>\n
